A man was tackled by officers after trying to escape from an Oregon courtroom, and the whole thing was caught on tape. Wayne Michael Trent made a dash for the door after the judge set bail during a hearing. Trent only made it about 30 yards before deputies used a Taser gun to stop him. Trent was originally faced with identity theft and impersonation charges.

Man Falls Asleep While Driving, Runs Over Gas Pump, Causes Fire

What would we do without surveillance videos? This one shows a man in Charleston, West Virginia who fell asleep at the wheel. Lucky for him, there was a gas station there to slow his truck down.

Police near Charleston, West Virginia, say the driver of a pickup truck fell asleep behind the wheel. Multiple surveillance cameras captured the vehicle as it slammed through a gas pump and started a fire. The truck then plowed into the convenience store, narrowly missing three people who were inside. There's no word on whether the driver was charged.

Drunk Woman Crashes Into Gas Station In Florida

Florida State troopers arrested 50-year-old Nancy Dvornik and charged her with Driving Under the Influence and Driving With A Suspended License as a result of the traffic crash at the Shell gas station on the corner of Bird Road and 67 Avenue on Monday.
If convicted of the DUI charge, it will be Dvornik's third DUI Conviction. Miami Dade Fire Rescue said Dvornik, who was heading east on Bird Road in a Ford Super Duty 350, lost control and slammed into a Mercedes Benz near SW 67th Avenue.

Witnesses said the woman's truck then veered into the gas station lot where it hit 3 cars pumping gas, and clipped a gas pump island. Luckily, a quick thinking clerk inside the store immediately turned off the pumps. Dvornik then hit 2 cars parked in front of the mini-mart, before crashing through the store’s front door.Several people were treated for minor injuries. The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital to be treated for cuts on her face. At least four vehicles, including the truck, were totaled.

Coyote Walks Into Chicago Quiznos, Refused Service for Lack of Shoes, Shirt

So, a coyote walks into a Quiznos . . . No, it's not the beginning of a bad joke. This really happened earlier this week in Chicago. Here's more from NBC10:

People at a downtown Chicago Quiznos sandwich shop were stunned to see a coyote walk through the propped-open front door and lay down in a cooler stocked with fruit juice and soda. A Chicago newspaper said that employees and customers calmly cleared out of the restaurant, though some took the time to finish their sandwiches and snap some cell-phone photos.
Animal control officers took the passive coyote away after about 40 minutes.
The city captures 10 to 15 coyotes every year.
Veterinarians will examine the coyote and, if he is not injured, release him into the wild.
