Now that's white trash! And guess who helped Ms. Brit track the old lady down? The paparazzi who follow her everywhere! Well, at least they were good for something this time. Might make for an awkward scene around the dinner table this Thanksgiving though, what with Lynne Spears having to sit at the other end of a 100 yard table. Here's more from the New York Post:

. . . Britney Spears yesterday handing her estranged mom documents that reportedly warn her away from the pop tart's kids, and then striding away, leaving her mother staring after her in shock.
Britney had tracked down her mom with the help of the paparazzi who are never far from her side.
The singer's bodyguards had asked some of the fotogs who camp outside her Beverly Hills home if they knew the whereabouts of Lynne Spears.
With security men in a pair of SUVs flanking her, Spears arrived at set of the kiddie show "Zoey 101," on which little sister Jamie Lynn Spears co-stars.
Britney, 25, stormed out of her car and right to a trailer where she found her mom.
Spears - wearing a tank top and denim shorts - then handed Lynne, 52, a picture frame and set of pa pers, including a lawyer's letter warning her to stay away from her grandkids if she's on any medication that might cause her to be impaired, according to celebrity Web site TMZ.

John Stamos Bizarre Interview on Australia's Kerri-Anne Show

Did former Full House hunk John Stamos have jet lag or was he drunk during this interview on the Kerri-Anne Morning Show in Australia? The bearded current ER actor was in Australia promoting the aging NBC show (for free as he mentions several times)and showed some surprising behavior. Woman Gets Winning Lotto Ticket Snatched Out Of Hand

Word to the wise: if you win $500 on a scratch-off lottery ticket at a convenience store, don't tell every on in the place. (Watch the video clip below.) Here's more from NBC6:

Patsey Jean Harris bought lottery tickets at the convenience store across the street from her work in Holiday. On her third ticket, she won $500.
Everyone in the store was watching, she said, including three women standing behind her. One woman in a white shirt asked her what kind of ticket she bought, and then she grabbed Harris' ticket and took off running.
"I'm trying to pull it actually back in the store and she kept pulling me more and more out," Harris said.
They went to the parking lot, struggling over the ticket. A girl in a red shirt began hitting Harris, she said.
"She's on my back, she's punching me and you can see scratches and stuff," Harris said.
Harris said she held on tight to the ticket, pulling off one girl's shirt. Eventually, the women made off with the ticket.

Two of the three women, Whitney Flukes and Jessica Syme, are in jail, but Harris' winnings were never returned.

Padres Chris Young Hits Cubs Derrek Lee With a Pitch, Brawl Ensues

Another baseball game, another Cubs brawl, but at least this time it wasn't amongst themselves, but with the opposing team. Here's more from the Beacon Journal:

Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee swung at San Diego pitcher Chris Young after he was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning Saturday, setting off a benches-clearing skirmish between the teams.
The two players were ejected, as were Padres pitcher Jake Peavy and Cubs hitting coach Gerald Perry.
Young hit Lee in the back of the upper left arm with the pitch, knocking him to the ground. Lee got up, walked by Young on the way to first, then said something to the 6-foot-10, 260-pound right-hander.
After the pitcher apparently responded, Lee threw a punch that didn't land. Young tried to throw a punch back that missed. Then he and Lee tried to connect at the same time.
By that time both benches had emptied, resulting in pushing, shoving and holding in a scrum as several players fell to the ground before order was restored.

Bicyclist Survives Crash With Bus in China - MSNBC

First off: the guy on the bike in this video does survive, although it's difficult to see how. According to the clip, this incident was caught on a security camera and shows the cyclist slamming into the side of a bus which swerves to try and avoid him, only to have both of them spin 180 degrees before coming to a stop. This clip is a bit graphic, so you have been warned!

Brawl in Alabama Senate - Senator Charles Bishop Punches Senator Lowell Barron

It looked like something you'd see out of a third world country: members of an elected body getting so angry at each other that punches fly. Only this time, it happened in the good ol' USA in the Alabama State Senate. Here's more from WKRG:

Senator Lowell Barron could decide as early as Friday whether he'll press criminal charges against Republican Senator Charles Bishop of Jasper.
Bishop punched Barron in the head after the two argued over a campaign finance bill which, Bishop says, was being held hostage. "It was a hospitalization punch", said Senator Parker Griffith, a Democrat from Huntsville.
Griffith says the punch was so hard, it knocked Barron over his desk on the Senate floor.
Bishop readily admits punching Barron, but Barron denies doing anything to provoke it.
However, the Republican Senator said his Democratic colleague called him an S.O.B.
Senate Democrats filed an emergency motion to expell Bishop for the rest of the session, which was set to end at midnight.
But Bishop dismissed himself after an emotional speech. "I love each of you, and most of all I love this place. But I'm going home, so have a good day." said Bishop.

Semi Gives Man in Wheelchair 50 MPH Joy Ride

Talk about a wild ride! This guy was going 50 mph in a wheelchair stuck to the front of a semi going down the highway! Good thing he had a seatbelt on. here's more from WZZM (link includes video clip):

A wheelchair-bound man went on the ride of his life Wednesday after visiting a gas station in Van Buren County.
Calls began pouring in to the Paw Paw post of the Michigan State Police around 4:00 p.m. The first call came in with a woman telling dispatchers, "You are not going to believe this, there is a semi- truck pushing a guy in a wheel chair on Red Arrow Highway!"
The truck was traveling westbound on Red Arrow Highway just outside the village of Paw Paw.
Authorities responded to the call on Red Arrow Highway where the man and his wheelchair were still attached to the semi-truck.
Troopers and officers found a 21-year-old man un-harmed as he sat in his wheelchair, its handles still lodged in the truck's front grill.

GRUMPY Larry King was caught on camera complaining that CNN star Anderson Cooper was getting more airtime.
A video clip of King conversing with producers that was apparently recorded during a break in CNN's post-debate show Sunday night was posted on the Internet yesterday by an unidentified mischief-maker.
It fueled speculation that King, 73, is locked in a bitter rivalry with the fair-haired Cooper, who turned 40 last Sunday.
In the approximately 40-second clip - which never aired on CNN but which could be seen yesterday on youtube.com - King is seen seated in a chair, rubbing his eyes and receiving instructions on an upcoming segment from a producer.
King then testily asks the producer a question.
"What I want to know is," King said, "Anderson gets more time with his panel than we get with ours? And, if so, why?"

Rapper Akon Throws Heckling Teen Into Crowd at K-Fest

Not sure who's the bigger idiot here: the teen aged boy who was stupid enough to throw a ball at this--rather large--rapper's face. Or the rapper himself, who goes by the name of Akon, who got mad and sent his bouncer into the crowd. The bouncer brought the kid back and pushed him on state, at which point Akon humiliated him by picking him up over his shoulders and throwing him back into the crowd of screaming white girls. We wouldn't believe it if we hadn't seen it.

California Man Eats 59 Hot Dogs in 12 Minutes - Joe Chestnut Beats Record Held by Takeru Kobayashi

22-year-old Joe Chestnut shattered the previous record held by professional competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi.

Chestnut placed second in that competition, eating 52 hot dogs and buns.

The robot is designed with an AI that allows it to act much like a 1-2 year-old baby. It has natural reactions to stimuli, recognizes objects, sounds and has an advanced tactile system.
For the quick and natural movements, traditional servos have been replaced with 56 pneumatic ‘muscles’. The sheer count allows for natural motion, while the system gives them speed. The not-so-cool part is the need for air tubes, so the robot isn’t completely autonomous.

Chicago Cubs Brawl in Dugout - Carlos Zambrano & Michael Barrett

Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano and catcher Michael Barrett shoved each other in the dugout Friday, then got into it again in the clubhouse, and Barrett wound up going to a hospital.
The confrontations in the 8-5 loss to Atlanta came after the Braves had just scored five runs in the top of the fifth to make it 7-1. With runners on first and second during the rally, Barrett allowed a passed ball and threw wildly to third for an error that let a run score.

Elderly Woman Turns Deli Into Drive Thru - Nibble Nook Deli, Morro Bay

Another elderly driver "mistakes" the gas pedal for the brake and goes crashing through the front window of a store. Here's more from KSBY:

An elderly woman accidently turns a Morro Bay deli into a drive through.
It happened at the Nibble Nook deli on the 400 block of Quintana Road Saturday afternoon.
Amazingly, no one was seriously hurt.
The owner's daughter moved away from the front of the restaurant, just seconds before the car came barreling through the window.
"I honestly thought that somebody was doing it on purpose. I saw them pull up, and then when I turned around again, they had accelarated and were going straight for the shop. So I was just ... I was scared. I thought someone was doing it on purpose."

Minor League Baseball Coach Goes Nuts, Throws Bases & "Grenade" at Umpire - Phillip Wellman

This is one of our favorite sports video so far this year. Baseball managers frequently argue with umpires about calls. And, occasionally, they get a little angry and make a little fuss . . . but this is classic! More from ABC 7 Sports:

Phillip Wellman, the manager of the Mississippi Braves, went on a major tirade after being ejected from Friday night's game.
The Braves are a minor league team, but this was a major league rant.
Wellman threw his hat and one of the bases. He also covered home plate in dirt and crawled around the field. Near the mound, Wellman picked up the rosin bag, pretended to bite the top off of it and threw it as if it were a grenade.

Teens Arrested for Punching 61-Year-Old Teacher, Recording it on Cell Phone - Murphy High School

What is the world coming to when two teenaged boys feel the need to not only sucker punch an elderly female teacher, but film their attack for posterity? It happened this week at Murphy High School and unfortunately for 16 year old Randolph Parker and 17 year old Dominick Harris it was also caught on the school's security camera. The brutal attack of a Murphy High School teacher is caught on tape, and News 5 has obtained a copy of the video.
Prosecutors showed the tape during a bond hearing Thursday.
Investigators say 16 year old Randolph Parker punched his teacher in the face, while 17 year old Dominick Harris filmed the attack on his cell phone.
Melinda Rudisill, 61, was rushed to the hospital where she received 20 stitches. Investigators tell News 5 Parker may have used brass knuckles during the attack.
Captain J.E. Dove of the Mobile Police Department testified at the hearing. Dove showed two pictures taken about a week after the attack. Dove says the pictures show a freshly painted gang symbol outside Parker's home.
"He's advertising he's got juice in the gang," said Dove. "In my expert opinion he's bragging cause he did this to a teacher."
Parker's bond is set at $250,000, while bond for Harris is $100,000.
Carolina Siderius, a prosecutor in the case, hopes that will keep the teens behind bars.
"It's high enough that hopefully they won't get out of jail anytime soon," said Siderius.
Harris' family attempted to storm out of the courtroom after bond was set, but bailiffs forced them to sit back down. One family member was held in contempt for swearing at an officer.
