Things got a little testy at the meeting of the Democratic Party's rules committee over the weekend as they tried to figure out how to seat the delegates from "banned" states Michigan and Florida. Apparently, frustration is building among Hillary Clinton supporters who think she should get the lions share of the delegates from those states, furthering her claim at a shot for the Democratic Party's nomination. One woman showed up uninvited to the Rules Committee hearing, said her name was Harriet Christian from New York City and proceeded to launch a verbal assault on her party's secretive selection process and the fact that Hillary appears to be being denied the nomination. A couple of the quotes from the video:
"I'm proud to be an older American woman"
"The Democrats are throwing the election away. And for what? An inadequate black male, who would not have been running had it not been a white woman that was running for president."
"I was a second class citizen before and now I'm nothing."
"I've got news for all of you: McCain will be the next president of the United States."
This, from a woman claiming to be a Hillary Clinton supporter.
