We think 2008 is the year of the media freaking out about teen pregnancy. Everyone had a heart attack when Jamie Lynn Spears became pregnant, Juno won a bunch of awards, and then there were the 17 pregnant girls from Gloucester, Massachusetts. It was just a little news story until the Principal suggested to Time Magazine that some of the pregnancies were a result of a pact to get pregnant. Now the Mayor of the town is refuting that claim. A 5-month pregnant teen from the school named Ashley and her boyfriend came on to Good Morning America to tell everyone that they were just idiots and didn't want to be pregnant. Nothing like sharing that with the world!
