China must have really high standards for cute because during their elaborate opening ceremony display they had a cute little girl sing "Ode to the Motherland." Lin Miaoke was cute and talented...except it wasn't really her. The original singer was 7 year old Yang Peiyi who was deemed too chubby (in addition to her crooked teeth) to represent the country. So instead of finding another singer, the government just found a cuter little girl to lip sync. Tough break kid but don't worry, Ashlee Simpson recovered from lip syncing just fine.
