MSNBC Interview with Jeff Peckman on Denver UFO Video

Okay, our favorite alien guy Jeff Peckman, or Jeffy Pop as we like to call him, had an interview with MSNBC yesterday following his press conference on his awesome alien video that he isn't allowing us normal people to see yet. This interview shows a suspicious and very blurry looking still from the video. Is it an alien or bad Halloween costume?

Denver "Alien" Video to Be Released Today - Jeff Peckman Wants "Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission"

Do you want to believe? Jeff Peckman does, so much in fact that he wants the city of Denver to create an "Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission." To prove his point that this is necessary, Peckman claims he will show a video today (Friday) to the city council that shows a real live alien caught on tape for the first time. No, we don't have the UFO tape yet, but when we do it will be posted right here. Here's more from ABC News:

Jeff Peckman, a Denver resident and believer in alien life, has begun the work of putting a ballot initiative to the city's voters that would, if passed, establish an "extraterrestrial affairs commission" made up of 18 members appointed by the mayor to ensure public safety in the event that aliens -- or their vehicles, according to the ballot language -- were to arrive in the Mile High City.
Peckman has already met with the city council in a fact-finding question-and-answer meeting. He received approval from the city clerk to start going after the 4,000 signatures he needs to get his initiative on a ballot, a task he has 180 days to complete. Before beginning that work, Peckman will show a video to members of the media today that he claims has cemented his belief that aliens exist and that it would be prudent to prepare for the inevitable encounter.
"It's the best evidence I've seen," said Peckman of a roughly one-minute snippet of footage he will show in Denver. "If people believe it, it's really significant."
Peckman described the footage to ABC News in these terms: "It starts out with a digital camera looking out across the room toward a window. There's a couple of flashes of light. After a few seconds, there is a small head clearly rising above a sill, panning the room, blinking its eyes, all slowly." The skin of the alien's oblong face, he said, is smooth, not wrinkled like the being in the popular film "E.T."
Peckman said that Jerry Hofmann, a professor at the Colorado Film School, authenticated the footage, which will be part of a feature-length documentary under production by Stan Romanek, another believer in UFOs. Peckman will require members of the media to sign a wavier at Friday's event in which they acknowledge they will shut off their cameras during the film -- effectively preventing the public from having the chance to see the footage for themselves.

Here is the supposed video of the alien. Though he isn't officially releasing the footage until his friend Stan is done with his documentary. What do you think?

MSNBC Reporter Chuck Todd Farts Through His Political Report

We normally aren't ones to laugh at fart jokes...mostly...but this clip from MSNBC political reporter Chuck Todd manages to pass gas so loudly during his piece that it is picked up by his mic. Oooo...glad we don't have smell-o-vision.

There has been a severe lack of dancing pooches on TV. At least Britain is addressing this problem with their show Britain's Got Talent. This lady and pup couple danced in the semi-finals to I Don't Feel Like Dancing by the Scissor Sisters.

Female Streakers Disrupt Italian Soccer Game

Finally, streaking has achieved gender equality. All of those years we had to suffer through hairy men running across baseball and soccer fields. These two women broke the gender barrier by streaking at a soccer game in Italy. Granted, they didn't get naked but small strides were made.

Boeing 747 Splits in Half on Brussels Runway

Georgia Judge Caught Drunk Driving

Man Goes For Sheriff's Gun in Courtroom

A very very stupid man, Michael Fisher, punched a sheriff's deputy and tried to grab the officer's handgun from its holster after a judge convicted him of murdering his wife and son. Oooo, that's probably not the best way to maintain your innocence. The Battle Creek, Michigan man was found guilt on two counts of first-degree murder.

Soccer Player Headbutts Opponent, Then Fakes Falling Down! - Manchester United's Nani, Neill West Ham

By now, almost everyone has seen video clips of soccer players falling down faking non existant leg injuries to try and get a penalty kick awarded their team in a close match. Some of these are so obviously bad acting that Tom Cruise even has to laugh . . . when he's not appearing on Oprah. Anyway, this whole soccer faking thing reached new heights this week when Manchester United's Nani was given a red card for headbutting Lucas Neill and then falling down as if he (Nani) was the victim. Eight Bells is Euthanized After Coming in Second at the Kentucky Derby

For those of you who missed the Kentucky Derby this weekend, oh wait, that's most people, then you don't know that the big deal wasn't that Big Brown won the big race, but that champion horse Eight Bells broke two ankles during the race and had to be euthanized. Two broken ankles and she came in second? What a horse.
